When many of his disciples heard it, they said, “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?”
But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, “Do you take offense at this?
Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.
But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.)
And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”
After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him.
So Jesus said to the Twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?”
Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life,
and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”
Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the Twelve? And yet one of you is a devil.”
He spoke of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the Twelve, was going to betray him.

Dinner at Techno Edge
Shy
Acting shy
She looks the youngest among us. Well, she’s younger than me so I don’t have to feel bad, I don’t know about the other two though. Haha.

Taken in The Container Store in San Fransisco.
Organising. Grouping. Classifying. Distinguishing things and putting them right where they belong.
I would think Aristotle was the first to introduce this concept to the world. He was the first systematic philosopher, and in his book Categories, he classified the material things into ten categories. Very smart.
A friend said before, the smarter people are those who are more systematic and organised in their heads. For some people, systems are created so naturally in their head. For me, thoughts are all jumbled up in my head. My room is constantly in a mess. Even the sentence structures and the words that come out of my mouth are messy. You should be nodding as you read this if you know me.
With the limited time and energy, and the unlimited choices that we have, life would really be more fun when you’re organised. You organise your activities according to their importance, and you do those that are most important first, prioritising starts with organising. You classify your thoughts and store them in containers in your head, so when you need to think or recall a particular thing, you do not have to search your whole brains. You group your stuff in your room, and you won’t have to clean your room again and again and again, you don’t always have to be late because you cannot find your transponder.
Imagine the amount of time and energy you’d save. Of course unless you end up spending a lot of time and energy grouping and storing. Not very smart.
(Btw I’m not supporting divided lives here. That’s a totally different subject altogether.)

The semester started last week, but it’s never too late :)
Give of your best to the Master;
Give of the strength of your youth.
Clad in salvation’s full armor,
Join in the battle for truth.
Give of your best to the Master;
Give of the strength of your youth.
Throw your soul’s fresh, glowing ardor
Into the battle for truth.
Jesus has set the example,
Dauntless was He, young and brave.
Give Him your loyal devotion;
Give Him the best that you have.
Give of your best to the Master;
Give Him first place in your heart.
Give Him first place in your service;
Consecrate every part.
Give, and to you will be given;
God His beloved Son gave.
Gratefully seeking to serve Him,
Give Him the best that you have.
Give of your best to the Master;
Naught else is worthy His love.
He gave Himself for your ransom,
Gave up His glory above.
Laid down His life without murmur,
You from sin’s ruin to save.
Give Him your heart’s adoration;
Give Him the best that you have.
It’s going to be another tough semester, let’s wrestle with things before God, and keep the focus on Him. Jiayouu..

is it stupid or i just don’t get it?
hey i’m back in singapore, typing this on my dear heavy black desktop in my new room in pgp. my things cover the whole floor in my room, my feet got pricked by some needles while attempting to walk on the mess yesterday, i have a pile of dirty clothes worth eight times of laundry, i feel sticky and chewy almost all the time.. oh it feels good to be back! i’m done with unpacking, but am still in the process of putting things in place, and that’s why the mess. i really suck at this, i wish i have less stuff.
back in reality once again, i’m now bombarded with so many things that i’ve put on hold the past three months. i’ve no more excuses :P need to catch up on work and peoples and the world.
and school has started!
did i really miss all these?
